LISZT KIDZ ACADEMY

For 6-12 years old

Can we differentiate boy music and girl music? If so, can a composer speak in a “girly” way and can girls compose the same way as boys? In the special, new music-themed edition of the Liszt Kidz Academy we will discuss not only these questions – relating to the theme of the 2020 Transparent Sound Festival, – but will also find out what avant-garde was the predecessor of, and what going forward means in the history of music. With the help of the flutist Judit Nagy, participants can try out what the flute is capable of, when it surpasses itself. Music historian Gergely Fazekas will be the partner in our expedition.
